Who We Are
Friends of Fitchburg Parks is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting and enhancing the parks, green spaces, and natural areas throughout Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
We work alongside the City of Fitchburg, local organizations, and residents to strengthen our shared outdoor spaces—making them more vibrant, accessible, and sustainable for everyone.
Our Mission
To promote community stewardship and the development of Fitchburg’s parks and natural areas by engaging volunteers, coordinating projects and raising funds that support and enhance our local environment.
What’s Our Role

We help fund and organize projects such as native plantings, habitat restoration, and park improvements.

We create opportunities for individuals, families, and student groups to get involved through hands-on work in local parks.

We collaborate with Fitchburg Parks & Forestry to support existing initiatives and expand what’s possible through community involvement.
